If you are generally a good student then AP classes shouldn't be TOO hard. My high school teachers always curved grades too so my actual grade in the class was usually high. What the teachers were concerned about were the scores on the AP exams. A lot of AP classes give past AP exams for tests... but see a passing score on a AP exam is 3/5 so yes they are difficult. That is why my teachers always curved the grades. Pay attention and study for the AP exam and it will pay off. My scores have saved me both time and money in college. Good luck!

AP classes are really good, especially to prepare for college. It shows up really well on a transcript, and it's a good challenge.

Sure, you'll probably be getting more homework than the rest, but it gives you a heads up for college. It also helps you to manage your time -- I'm a pretty active HS student, and it has helped me learn to gain a balance between schoolwork and fun.

AP World History was actually a pretty good class, I found mine interesting. However, we had a Coach as a teacher, and it wasn't as challenging as the others. Whatever you do, always ask for extra credit. That definitely helps out a lot.

Good luck with your high school career!
