Sewanee! The students with the best grades there even wear academic gowns to class, as you'll find in England. It's a wonderful school on a beautiful campus and is highly regarded. The alumni are fiercely loyal to one another, and that's a great thing to have when you graduate.

Check it out. I encourage you to visit and talk with some faculty and students.

Never underestimate State Universities in the US. Most of them are just as good and sometimes better than private schools, and fall over backwards to get international students. I went to Kent State University, and it has amazing resources and departments.
