i KNOW that he DOES die, but i wanna know how! does Itachi kill him?

I pretty much agree to what the lover to Sasuke says. But the first answerer I should disagree on. When he goes in the container. All what is happening is that he is mearly transforming himself. This process doesnt kill him. If it did, then there wouldnt be no point to someone surviving when they get bitten and the mark of orochimaru gets placed.
But so far. Orochi hasnt placed himself into Sasuke's body yet. This process would kill his soul, but abit of his soul would be still inside nontheless. It just wouldnt have the power to gain back control of themselves. Either way, he's not dead. But in my personal opinion. I wish he was dead. So, read the manga. If you havent then try reading it at mangavolume.com. They translated it way ahead than the official translators.

He doesn't die...(well, in a sense he doesn't because he still walks the Earth and everything, but his sould dies when he is getting transformed by Orochimaru, then he is a live again as the demon thingy). He's alive in part two, and he's alive for what I've read so far in the manga (way into part 2 after the timeskip when they're all 15).
So I think he doesn't die at all (grave death)...and if he does, it's not even released yet. (It would have to be at the very very very end of the entire series). Wikipedia shows no record of Sasuke Uchiha's death, so I guess he doesn't die. (YAY!)

he dosent die. he is very alive. he joins orochimaru, and fights naruto, sakura, and two anbu ninja sai and yamato, and sasuke wins. kind of. but he survives. type in naruto manga returns on search to see this.

im guessing either Ochimaru take over his body, naruto kill him or he turn good again and repay his deed by fighting ochimaru/ his brother and die.

he is placed in a demon sealed container by orochimaru's henchmen. he dies, but is revived. naruto then fights him at the waterfall and it ends in a tie, with naruto unconscious.
