Check with your doctor to be sure, but I've always heard that if you have a "good case" of chicken pox, you don't have to get the vaccine and you aren't susceptible to get it again since it's a one-time thing.

I am 34 weeks pregnant and had cp when I was 7 and it was never reccommended to me to get a shot. You should be just fine.

When I was about 10 weeks my Mother in Law got the shingles, which I'm told is related to the chicken pox. She asked the doctor if it would be ok for me to be around her and he said that even though I had the chicken pox as a child, since I was still in my 1st trimester I was at risk of catching it. He (the Dr.) said that if your body is in a vulnerable state (pregnancy or illness) you are more succeptible to contracting the shingles or chicken pox (it is possible to get it again, the virus just goes dormant). While every woman is different, you should call you doctor just to be safe. Good luck to you.

I don't think your daughter having chicken pocks can hurt the baby, you said you "may" be pregnant so if you are you are only 4-8 weeks along.

I suggest you tell your doctor about this, When you are pregnant you are at risk of any illness. It is easier for you to get the flu, cold, earaches, rashes, etc. You diffently want to let your Doctor know and be seen. I'm not saying that you get the chicken pox, I'm saying it can cause you to be ill and put you and/or your baby at risk.

If you had chicken pox when you were a child, then you already have immunities that are protecting you and your baby.
