I know that i can run Vista on my laptop but I don't know which one. I know there is software you can get to help you decide but I DON'T HAVE INTERNET ON MY LAPTOP AND I DON'T HAVE A WIRELESS ADAPTER (cost too much and I'm low on wages)

Can any1 tell me which version I can run (Home Basic,Home Premium, Business, Ultimate)




My laptop make is a GATEWAY MX3222b Notebook

My laptop has:

Intel Processor Celeron M 370 which operates at 1.50 GHz, 1MB L2 Cache, and 400 MHz FSB

a S3 Graphics UniCrome PRO IGP

Up to 60MB shared VRAM

A DVD/CD DRIVE

A HARD-DRIVE which has 40GB HDD, 4200 RPM

I will appreciate any help and I WILL CHOOSE A BEST ANSWER.

Go to the Microsoft website and download the upgrade advisor for Vista. It will tell you what edition is best for you and tell you of any hardware or software compatibility issues that you might come across. See the link below.

Hmmmm, sorry , none of them very well. You have a basic laptop.

I'm afraid you won't have a good experience with Vista.

If I had this pc, I'd stay with XP until the dollars were there for a Vista pc.

With that laptop... well, you can't run Aero Glass so I guess Home Basic is the best match for it... I'd get a new laptop with Home Premium already installed...

go to an internet at he library if you ahve to, and look up one of these companies and try to contact their troubleshooters! their service people should be able to tell you what you need!
