why do people try it??...i know that they might be despret but whoever opens it will be messed with by the evil spirit in the board and it wont leave you alone....and if you try to burn it...it wont burn, because demons are in fire every day...so it wouldnt do anything to it...but it can drown if you hold it in water..

Hi,
A lot of people use it to try to conjure up their loved ones on the other side.
This will explain more to you.
HOW THE BOARD WORKS

You can buy it at Target
I wouldn't recommend it though.

If this is something that scares you or bothers you, then I'd suggest avoiding it. Personally, I find it difficult to believe that a major corporation would manufacture these and that another would sell these if they are some sort of demonic communication device. On a side note (forgive me my tangent thoughts), why on earth would they need to manufacture this if they can't be destroyed?
But in answer to your question, it's partially curiosity, partially that need to be scared. I mean, why do we sit around a campfire telling ghost stories when we're young? Even though we know that that story of the disembodied hand will keep us awake all night, we still do it. It's a thrill to be afraid. It's a way to get the adrenaline pumping and feel rebellious.

Ok you have a few things wrong here....
1. Spirits are not literally in fire, this is symbolism used to describe the state of those who have fallen away from God.
2. A board can not drown because it is not alive.
3. It is called Ouija, not Quija
Now for an answer.....
People do it because they are curious, and they don't understand what they are doing. It is wrong to play with Ouija boards because it invites bad spirits to mess with you.

People try it just to try it for fun. No evil spirits they are made and sold at any toy store. It doesn't move on its own or anything. It is usually somone that is pushing it around with there hands, no big deal.

My niece got one after her Dad [my brother] passed last year. She thought it would help her to communicate with him. Nothing happened. I have one too, but to me it's just a game.
