it is very safe. it is one of the most secure software like it anywhere. of course, there is always risk. but i have never had any problems. someone would have to figure out your username and password to paypal to get to your information. hope this helps!

Yes, it is. I have had it for about 5 years and no problem YET.
Now what is not safe is when you get a "notice" from Paypal saying that someone tried to access your account and you need to go online to verify your account. This is FAKE. It is called "phising" aka fishing. They are fishing for info. The trick is not to access your account from the email. If you access the supposedly Paypal from the bogus paypal email then you are directed to the scammer's dummy site, where you will fill in the info for him to use to get on your REAL account. Now to find out just access it from the fake email site. LOOK on top and you can see the URL is not Paypal. It has another name. But they did get slick once. They had the fake site name and then integrated Paypal in the name, thinking that if you see Paypal you would not notice the rest. I filled in my fake name and used bad words for name and address and town. Then I sent it off. Off course, it comes back that the site is down and to try back later. The info is sent and you are screwed. As long as you access any site you have from your browser NOT the email itself, you are always safe.
Now once you are verified with the address on the bank account and you are still paranoid. Just change the 4 numbers of bank account. Then when you get ready for transaction change 4 numbers back to real account number then change back AFTER transaction goes thru.

PayPal is 100% safe, I use PayPal all the time, being verified will help you in a long run, most auctions now require a verified account, like eBay.

Yes. I had my account verified through Pay Pal, and the transfers were secure, and that was over 4-5 years ago. not a Problem at all.
