Hello, congratulations on wanting to fulfil your dream of being your own boss. Now I am perplexed why a tire or oil shop. Especially as high the competition is in those two area's. Along with restaurants and retail. The three highest areas of failed to all mom and pop operations.
Home services of some sort can stand a fighting chance. However, if your going to be dead set on opening say a tire shop. Offer that in an area where people are poor and low mile but high value tires. Everyone enjoys a great deal. But Ive learn ed in my mechanic back-ground poor people are easier to acquire than the rich or well to do. due to high end competition. There isn't enough low end competition for the masses.
