Bravo, Melissa! Keep up the great work. As for being a geek, did someone call you that? My advice is "who cares what other people think" Don't ever listen to people who try to take you down a notch. Misery loves company and many people are not happy unless they diminish other people's accomplishments. You have a bright future ahead of you if you keep studying this way. And even if this classifies you as a geek using this measurement, you will laugh all the way to the bank in the future because you'll have an awesome job, and they'll be working in a store or at Mc Donalds.

This definitely doesn't mean you're a geek. 6th grade is the time of our life, that for once you are good at a lot of stuff. Elementary school is when you learn everything, middle school is when you actually use that knowledge.
In this day and age, most of the "popular" peoples get pretty good grades. You are no geek!

No you are not a Geek, you are a leader! You deserve to be at the top of you class, you are going places. The only way to get into a great college is to start early, I applaud you. Don't let the peers in your school pressure into anything less than your best, you deserve it!
Those that view you as a geek, are just jealous, because while they can call you names or pick on you smarts, they will never be able to achieve straight A's, and they know that eventually their life will be filled with struggle, so they spend their time hating on you now... pity them, as they will never feel your success!
