This will be my first time to see the live NBA game in united center. I bought the tickets are in 300 level, which will be far away to see the game. I'm wondering do I need to buy a telescope for the game. Thank you for any help.

Last week I checked the cheapest tickets were $20.00. On Monday I bought the cheapest tickets were $40.00. Today, I checked the price again and found out the cheapest tickets were $115.00.

no, i thought the same thing when i went to a game, and the view was actually pretty good... definitely better than on TV, you definitely don't need a telescope

No not a telescope BUT... to the person who said it's better than on TV, you're joking. If you have a flat panel TV and hi-def, nothing but near the floor is going to be better. Personally, the last time I went to an NBA game and I was in the nose-bleed seats, I couldn't even tell which player was which... I vowed that if I ever did that again, I would spend the extra money to get closer to the action.

Only if you want to check out the players upclose. You can see the game fine from the 300 level seats plus they also show it on the big screen in the middle.

Ha. No. When you are actually there you will feel like you are right on top of the court. Also a telescope would make you look kinda dumb since no one else would have on and it would only allow you to focus on a small area of the court.

In Chicago, right? I've always wanted to go to an NBA game, but the closest city from mine with an NBA team is Dallas and it's 350 miles away. Are the tickets expensive?

No.. It may seem like the seats are high up.. but they are actually good seats to see the whole court. It isn't that high. Don't Waste Your money on binoculars or a telescope.
