Possible combinations follow a "factorial" rule. The number of items multiplied together = the answer.
There are actually two answers to your question. The first answer is if you only consider the turkey , lettuce and cheese.
3 x 2 x 1 = 6 combinations LCT,LTC,TLC,TCL,CTL,CLT
If you want to consider it is not a sandwich without the bread slices then there are two more items we can change the order. Lets make the bread slices unique so each one is actually different. Make one a heel slice, and the other a middle slice. If you want to consider the bread then the possible combinations increase to 5 x 4 x3 x 2 x 1 or 120. mBread, Lettuce, Cheese, Turkey, hBread// mBread,hBread, Lettuce, Cheese, Turkey,mBLhBCT, etc. :) If you want to consider the pieces of bread to be the same then the answer would be (5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x1) divided by 2 = 60 different combinations. Since in this instance 1/2 of the combinations would be the same as the other half.
The second way is to show you how this factorial rule works so you can apply it to new situations. Rather than just give you the answer, I think it would be better that you understand how it works. Hope that helps, Bob

Do you mean, like, lettuce on the bottom, turkey in the middle and cheese on the top?
If you have to use all three, then you have three choices for what to use first, two for what to use second, and your last choice will be made for you. So: 3 * 2 * 1 = 6 ways.
If you're allowed to leave some off, then you have three ways to do it for one item each, six ways to do it with two items, and six ways to do it with three making a total of 15 ways to arrange it. I guess actually 16, if you count not using any of them, but that makes a pretty boring "sandwich".

if you start from bottom of sandwich
first of all you have 3 choices " turkey, lettuce or cheese" then there are just 2 choices and finally you have just "turkey Or lettuce Or cheese" so it will be:
3*2*1=6
6 ways
