Dismissal is indicated on some college transcripts, but not all - it depends on your school. I have worked for one university that did not indicate it and another that did, so I would suggest you contact the registrar's office of your university to ask.
If you have accumulated credits, I would not recommend acting like you never went to college, as you will lose credit hours and effort - and the money spent on that time in school. Rather, I recommend you be up front with an admission rep at your new college of choice. As a college employee, I would respect a student who came to me and acknowledged that they had made mistakes, but had learned from them and were serious about returning to college and doing things right next time. That says a lot and is to be commended - and could give you an edge in the application process, as the maturity of a student speaks volumes.
good luck! Whatever the reason for dismissal, I hope you will accept whatever responsibility is necessary and chalk it up as a lesson learned early in life. You have a great chance to start over and I hope you do it and do it well.

You will have to disclose your educational history. If you hide it, you're just as likely to get expelled again for lying in the admissions process. It will be notated somewhere that you were asked to leave the university.
And don't think you can hide it, even if you want to. Most, if not all colleges use the National Student Data Clearinghouse (or something like that). When you enroll, it is entered into that database, and anyone with access to it can see every school you've attended and your status from semester to semester.
You will have some serious explaining to do, but if you do that well, I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to enroll somewhere else. It's important that they come away from talking with you and reviewing your application that they see you've grown up, learned from your mistakes, and that you will not be a liability to the university.

Drugs?
It would hinder your chance of getting into universities, but only if you show them the transcript from that university. If I were you, I'd pretend I'd enver gone at all. Just send them your high school transcript, and pretend to have taken some time off to work or something.

Yeah, like they are gonna leave a little thing like expulsion off your record. That's what a record is for, to keep track of you accomplishments and well your indiscretions.... no way around it, you will be questioned about it when attempting to apply at another college. Good Luck, I think.

I know exactly what you are going through....Look the only thing is that getting expelled doesn't mean that you can't go to another college. You just have to remember that you are going to get amark on your...dare I say it....PERMANENT RECORD!!!!! Just go to another college and try again and this time, if you are doing drugs...get off of it please for the children!!!!
