after i had unprotected sex with my partner about 4 weeks ago i spotted, a pinkish/brown colour, and i had a prob with going he toilet all the time. Now i am 5 days late with my period, i have taken 2 HPT and they have come up neg.

If the test says negative, then more than likely you're not pregnant. It wouldn't hurt to go see a doctor, and have a blood test done, just to be 100% sure.

The problems with the toilet may be from a UTI they are sort of like bladder infections...drink lots of water and cranberry juice if it continues! UTIs happen when bacteria gets trapped its not a big deal no need for a doctor or anything unless the pain is unbearable. Now the pregnancy u might want to wait a little longer for your period just in case but trust the tests they are usually correct if u dont then go to planned parenthood they give free pregnancy tests and its completely anonymous......good luck!

I'm no doctor, but I have had irregular periods before. You probably aren't pregnant - it's just a very light perios. It sounds like you may have a urinary tract infection, and sometimes when I have a high fever, my period is very irregular. You should get that checked out! A free or low cost clinic can offer you a better pregnancy test. They could also tell you if you have a UTI. Try Planned Parenthood or Family Planning, or see your OBGYN/regular doctor, or go to a walk-in emergency clinic to find out for sure. I wouldn't let that go unchecked. You need antibiotics if its a UTI.

There is a posibility that you could I say wait a couple more day then take it again if it is negative it might be a couple weeks before you know. But if your're really worried go to your Dr. Keep in mind that all acts of sex don't make you become pregnant. I tried for months and I just got pregnant.

You could be pregnant. Why don't you check the planned parenthood web site to see what exactly you will need to look at to determine this. A blood-test to check for pregnancy is one of the surest ways to know. Some of the at-home tests can really take you for a ride, but from what I hear, they are pretty accurate. You may be spotting from all sorts of things from being pregnant to getting ready to start your period. Check out http://www.plannedparenthood.com and also http://www.webmd.com, you will have to click on different links to find the information that you need, but I would pretty much trust those sites since medical professionals provide the content on the web sites.

Don't panic just yet! I understand you though because in the back of your mind you kno u had unprotected sex, and now all these symptons are appearing, and even more will appear. i was paranoid and maybe you are too. However, it is not to say that you are not pregnant. Be really careful with changes in your body. I advice you to take another pregnancy test after 2 weeks of your missed period.that's when they are most accurate!

sometimes we can trick our bodies into thinking we are pregnant. Like when you are really stressed about being preg. The best way is to go and see your doctor. If you are actually preg your body will know. You wil feel diff. It is hard to explain. Talk to your doc that is what they are there for. Good luck, hope he can give you the answer you are looking for. Maybe use protection next time. You never know how much you wil have to sacrifice when you have a kid until you actually have one. Live your life for now.

I would say it is possible. When I got pregnant with my son I noticed some light spotting like you are describing on the day I was supposed to get my period. I would make an appointment with my doctor ASAP.
