ok i want a wall of sound. i play with a stereo effects processor. dont gig, but i want to play. need a new toy.
so im thinking a power amp of sorts with 2 4/12 cabs, or maybe 2 2/12 combos, serious answers please. delay and echoes are important to me, but also future build, like using a second multi effects processor with a stereo splitter and a roll style patch box to split my in signal.

I don't know, only play acoustic. You should get an acoustic too.

You're running into a stereo amp? So what's the stereo splitter for? Are you splitting the signal and running different effects thru each channel?

If so, you need a way to EQ and control the effects level of each channel and then send the signals where you want them to go. Sounds like you should get a mixer and run the effects via sends/returns.

Your best bet would probably be to go with a couple of cabs. Heads are interchangable, and that will leave you with more options once you start figuring out what you can afford, and what it is you want exactly. The Line 6 Spider III head is pretty amazing, as it comes with a ton of effects including delay and reverb, with the ability to download more effects and presets off of their website. And they make a 300w model, which should be plenty to power a couple of 4x12s. Wall of sound, voila. Enjoy.
