What I would say is F**K what people say and think about how you dress.
You have one life, and you better do what you like and how you life it, because soon enough you will find that its nearly over.
Do what you want and don't think of what others are thinking because if you do you will regret it for the rest of your life, and personally I could live with most things, but regret is not one of them.

Why are you asking this question. Women who have intelligence enough to answer this question with competence already know there is NOTHING they, or anyone else can do, to change a man. They are what they are when you meet them. It would be easier to change the spots on a leopard.

Your upbringing.
Physically you could do nothing that would get me to want to go out with you but it would be nice to think you could handle a proper conversation that wasn't about sport or alcohol, cars, etc.
