I'd say D-Wade's.......because he single handley erased that deficit already being down 0-2 in the series. It takes a alot to dig deep and show that kind of heart & will to win. Being down 0-2 in the series with 6 minutes left, losing by 13, everyone in the WORLD who was watching thought that it was over for the Heat.......but as you guys saw, D-Wade proved everyone wrong in a Miami Heat celebrated emotional victory!

Kobe's 81 points is good(not record breaking but 2ND highest scoring game), but there is NO WAY I could put a regular season, non-televised(unless you lived in L.A. or had the NBA package) performance, over a NBA FINALS miracle come back performance. Plus Kobe's 81 was against a team that was far from being a playoff team & their defense was rated in the bottom 3 of all the teams in the NBA. I'm not HATING, I'm just stating facts. If I was hating I'll be making up lies along with facts. If anyone thinks my statements are not true, well prove me wrong!

I watch the Dallas/Miami Series... In my opinion I don't think it was all D-Wade. Dallas played horribly the last 4 games. Also D-Wade had help not just offensively, but most importantly defensively. Offensively Haslem was also shoting the lights out. If anything I would tribute their win because of their defense. Morning was blocking shots like crazy. Dallas just crashed offensively.

On the other hand Kobe has had similar performances beofre. First Championship with Indiana. Game 3, Kobe took over. Kobe had made last 6 shoots of the game. 2 of those were in regulation and Perkins took it to over time with a 3. Kobe had a shoot to take the win but missed it. It wehn to over time. Shaq fouls out with 3 minutes remaning. And kobe took over and made 4 of 4 in OT. Needless to say that Kobe was playing with a sprained ankle from an injury cause in Game 2. He did it again against San Antonio (2003-2004 series) down 0-2 and won 4-2. Had Kobe be in a Finals game, I'm sure he has the potential of making a similar if not, an even better performance D-Wade.

Now Kobe's 81... I mean you don't get to see a player score 81 points every day. We barely even get to see a player score 40 or even 50 even against the worst teams. Kobe had been scroing 50 and 60 points in many occasions throughout the seasson (2005-2006). Wether it was televised globally, nationally or locally, has nothing to do with his persformance (Kobe's 81).

Bottom line, D-Wade's performance is doable, not just by Kobe, but by any other player.

Kobe's 81, I guarantee you, you won't see anything near for at least the next 10 to 20 years.

I'm gonna have to vote for Kobe's 81

T-Mac made a come back with .49 seconds left in the fourth quater against the Spurs, down by 12 and won the game at the buzzer with a 3. It wasn't a playoff game or a finals, but that just shows you that there's players capable of doing better performances that a 13 point game come back in 6 minutes.

I think Kobe's 81 is definitely better than Wade's game 3 comeback. Despite the fact that Wade's comeback WAS in the nba finals and also when the Heat was down 2 games, increasing the pressure on a player dramatically, plus being Wade's first finals appearance, i gotta put Kobe's 81 infront of it. It has been 50 something years since WIlt put up 100 and he is the closest to tying this feat. You also must not forget the fact that Kobe's Lakers in the game he scored 81 in was against the Raptors, when the Raptors were up big at the half and most people thought for sure it was going to be a blowout. In the second half (where Kobe scored most of his 81), he turned it up and just started knocking down shots after shots. Kobe put on a come-from-behind victory all by himself.

Well I disagree with Wade winning MVP. Yes he has been doing Phenominal the last 12 or so games, but LeBron has been doing phenominal ALL season, and that's what an MVP does. MVP: Most Valuable Player, Don't get it confused with BEST PLAYER. This eliminates Kobe from the question, because without Kobe, the Lakers would still be a playoff team, with Pau, Bynum, and Odom. This keeps LeBron and Wade in the Question along with Dwight Howard AND Brandon Roy. LeBron, you remove him from the Cavs, the Cavs win 20 games. You put him on the Kings or something, they become INSTANT contenders. Dwayne Wade, remove him from Heat, and right now with 29 wins, they would be at about 15 right now. Put him on the Thunder, they become contenders. Brandon Roy, Remove him, his team sucks! Put him on the T-Wolves, and they are a playoff Team. Remove Dwight from the Magic and they are 13th in the East, put him on the Wizards and you have a Serious Contender. So as you can see, Kobe is not as valuable as these 4, but the one that would make a team OVER-THE-TOP would be LeBron James. That is my definition of what Most Vaulable Player means.

I agree DWades preformance can be repeated by any other player, Kobe himself, T-Mac, LeBron, Arenas, Billups, Bosch. They all have the same potential. But 81 points.... its not an every day thing. You're talking about the 2nd best scoring preformance EVER. At one point I even doubt Kobe was capable of doing so, but he changed my mind. And yep there's might be some DECADES before that record can be braken.

Kobe's 81 for sure!!

By Dwade being part of the come back, made no history other than winning a title. Kobe however, made long meaningful history.

D-Wade's comeback over Kobe's 81
Any performance that results in a team winning a championship is better than someone scoring 81 points in a regular season game against a team that at the time was one of the worst in the league.

awesome question
both are amazing individual efforts
one difference is Wade's thing was really important because it was in the finals...
Kobe's was important because it proves he's not human
the fact that the game wasnt televised doesnt take anything away from kobe...
i dont know...
if it was record-breaking...i'd give it to kobe...but since it was just 81 haha JUST 81
i'd say wade

solid question, but kobe's 81 is better than d-wade

now the HEAT's comeback in game 3 was amazing, but d-wade didnt do it by himself

kobes performance will always be remembered

Sorry I have to disagree. Despite, Kobe being a being a complete ball hog it is basically impossible to get close to or match Wilt Chamberlain's record of 100 points. The feat Kobe gave might never even come close to being touched again.

D-Wade did not single-handedly bring them back. He was incredible and made a lot of clutch jumpers and basically everything he threw up, but he had a lot of help from the refs. Ask the coach of any team not named the Heat, he gets more calls than Jordan

D-Wades performance means more since it was during the NBA Finals. He got Finals MVP something Kobe hasnt done. Kobe is OVERRATED.
