why do people gangbang?

Ok I know why they join a gang but geez these idiots are killing people over land and territory they don't own. I mean how stupid do you have to be to join a gang. Ok you have 3 places to go,1 to jail,2 dead,3 or get shot and not killed. Wow good place to be you would have to be an idiot to want that. Why don't these people clean there neighbprhoods up and act like humans. That is why there neighborhoods suck cause they make em that way.

Gangs claim and fight for territory as their own, cause to a degree they make money off of it. People who join gangs usually have a dysfunctional family life or the odds fell against them. I feel Charley Manson was one of those people...nobody wanted him from the start. Then there's the ones who went to Vietnam to fight for us, and when they came back home, people spit on them, called them baby killers and the list goes on. The bottom line is they were only doing what they were told to do, but to this day...many of the Vietnam vets joined motorcycle clubs or they live in an isolated area away from the public. They were basically outcasts, and by joining a gang or a motorcycle club gives them a sense of belonging and power that they never had. You are right...there's only 3 places to go...prison, death or to be wounded, and their claiming territory that isn't even theirs, but why should they care? They already been rejected most of their life.
