It depends on where you are staying in Taiwan. You can check on-line travel sites, but Taiwan is interesting in that you will see hotels EVERYWHERE! It's best to find out where you will be staying (city/district/what price range), then ask again with more specific information.
Or you can hook up with someone here (We foreigners are usually pretty helpful.) that will help you get settled into a hotel.
