Ever try asking him?
chances are if you're asking how to check browser history he already knows more than you and you'll just be chasing your tail anyway. When I was 10 when I figured out how to completely bypass the parental control filters some website sold my parents.

You can go to www.k9webprotection.com and get that parental filter. It saves your history too even if the IE or Firefox history has been deleted. You can also set up a parental filter so it blocks those bad sites or ads.

You can go to tools - internet options - cookies
view the cookies
If your son erases the history, cookies are the next best thing.
If he erases them too, there are many good programs to track where people go.

history folder is the first place to look... if you have a router, you can check the logs in it but this only provides ip addresses which you would have to then look up...
try talking to him, ask him what he doing on the net... COMMUNICATION!!!
