Absolutely. I don't buy the human rights brigade arguement that you'd get the wrong man. With the advances in DNA technology and surveillance now, I think it'd be just about impossible to get the wrong person and it'd be a hell of a deterant.

DNA.DNA.DNA.DNA.
DNA is just NOT available in 40+% of crime scenes.
DNA is NOT infallible, with an inaccuracy rating of about 12%.
It may well be that the right man is being charged with the recent crime in Leeds, and will be found guilty in a court of law.
If that is the case he must receive the severest possible sentence.
But, and it is a HUGE "but", killing him is wrong.
Why is it wrong?
Because many cases are NOT simple, and people DO (like it or not) get found guilty of sex offences against children, when they are, IN FACT, innocent.
We live in an imperfect world with an imperfect justice system, and INNOCENT people do get wrongly convicted.
If we "fry" this man (if he IS guilty), we establish a precedent which you have already said should be applied to "Paedophiles and perverts".
Some of the people we "fry" will be among those who were wrongly convicted.
Keep them in prison for ever, if that's what is needed, but do not kill them, because, if we do then we will inevitably kill some innocent people.
Don't ask me to endorse that, because I never will. It is just plain wrong.

Hi Betty Boop , I Think the Electric Chair , Lethal Injection and Similar --- Gives the Lunatic , Screwed Up "Do Gooders" an Excuse for Claiming that "It took Too Long" for the "Offender" to Die --- Plus the fact that the Preparation is Long Winded.-- Consequently I think that a "Firing Squad" of say Four Competent Marksmen would be more Satisfactory --- Quick - and Totally Effective . ????

YES, you are right. Ok, so it might not stop all murderers, but what about the poor relatives...... a life sentence of misery and SLEEPLESS NIGHTS. In all the years that the families of the moors murder victims suffered, because the media kept bringing it up time and time again over a period of 40yrs+ must have been traumatic. Brady and Hindley should have been hanged, if only to spare the perpetual suffering. Not for the dead.... For the living.
Justice must be done as it's getting worse.

Despite the mis-interpretation of Conservative policies by the left wing of the Labour party, the Conservative party is greatly opposed to single party politics. That sort of thing is better left to the chumps in the BNP and some of the other no-hopers. You are showing your true colours. A rabid left of centre organisation dedicated to extreme socialist policies.

I take it you are referring to the sick tw*t who raped and killed his niece, Oh god yes, he shouldn't hang, he should die a slow and very painful death, How can we call ourselves a civilised society, when we continue to let sick twisted men (and yes occasionally women) have the life of Riley in "prison" with satellite TVs, PS2's and all that. Our country needs to wake up and start to put children first, did u see the news today, children all over the world were asked how safe they feel.. guess which country came last!! England of course!!!! Are we surprised?? of course not

secretly maybe, but i think the gov want them legalised, thats why tony blair wanted to lower the age of consent to a more vunerable age. he got beat in the house of lords. they cant say it in words but one can read it by what their political desires are.It started like this with the sodomites, they used to be terrable but many were politicians so they got legalised then glorified into fooling people to believe they are normal.

Yes Betty Boo - I agree, but I would go one step further where the death for these filthy bastards was slower and more painful.

I am a mum and despise any wrong doing towards a defenceless child be it sexual, physical, emotional - evil
