ok or not ok???? It will be indoors...

The reason I am asking is because on another ???? one of the people said no loud noises after 20 weeks.... I guess supposedly that is when they start to hear and I she said that her friend went to one at 5 months and her baby was born with severe hearing problems...

I was thinking that the baby would be so well insulated that it wouldn't bother it that much with their hearing.... What is your opinion on that.... I really have never heard of anything like that, but then again with my first pregnancy I didn't do anything at all..... :)

Oh, and would the fumes hurt the baby??? I plan on taking breaks throughout... Seeing as how I have to pee every 30 minutes and stuff... :)

I wouldnt think it would really be a problem with the noise, I was going shooting at 26 weeks pregnant, it was quite cute coz every time the gun went off the baby would wiggle! It was okayed by my doctor though. The fumes, I wouldnt think would be too bad, even if it is indoors coz they have all the restrictions and stuff, (air filters, etc) at most places you go to. Go and enjoy yourself, you cant go to it every day!

unless you have a high risk pregnancy its totally fine. I was as far along as you and i went to the nickelback/chevelle concert. Front row next to the speakers! and at 9 months i went to an all day rock concert outside in Texas heat.(my feet swelled really bad) but other than that my baby is absolutely fine, if anything she can recognize the music she heard in my belly. a monster truck show will be fine, especially since you will be like a 100 feet or more away and its not even as loud as a rock concert, don't worry, have fun, and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!

It will be perfectly fine! Enjoy and have fun!

I'll be going to concert at 35 weeks pregnant...

I asked my doctor about the noise thing and he said there's been no conclusive evidence to prove that loud noises cause hearing loss. According to him the baby is well insulated and it will damage my ears far faster than the baby's

I went to a tractor pull (about the same thing) when pregnant with my son - He didn't seem to like it at the time because he moved about a lot. After being born he never liked loud noises (fireworks, loud trucks, etc.).
