The best is to see an immigration lawyer but you can do it yourself if you have the time.
Her visa has to be revoked. Then it goes to a line waiting for quota, which is country dependent. Unofficially (from experience), if she is from a super friendly country like the UK, Germany, or Canada, the wait is not long. Otherwise, each category has a line you have to wait.
Often, the visa expires before there is a quota so she may have to go "home" first. Lawyers can help drag it out a little but not much. The official change of status will be done at the overseas US Consulate.
Note that marriage entitles her the residency. But the government reserves the right to refuse based on criminal records and whatever they may find unsettling.

Get married? Easy, just do it. Las Vegas anyone? Apply for the marriage license. That is easy. but if you want the marriage to stick (i.e. the INS to issue a conditional green card), you need to make sure you know a lot about teach other and can show a good faith marriage to the INS (what it is called now). She won't be eligible for citizenship for three years. The working visa will become a conditional green card (same rights and privileges as the normal one, but with a two year expiration). If you become divorce for any reason (whether you two part or the INS invalidates the marriage), then the green card is revoked and the person becomes eligible for deportation. After two years, the person can apply for a permanent green card. After that, if you become divorced it doesn't matter (INS threat disappears at that point as well). One year later, citizenship can be applied for.

Sound's like another one of these immigrants have scored again.I don't mean appear negative and I'm sure there may be more to the story that I don't know. But why would you want to get involved with someone that may not be around in another few months. To many of these people come to the USA and look for partners to marry so they can become citizens.

been there done that. its simple just marry her. when to go to immigration they are gonna want to see proof that this person and you are together. you gonna need stuff like bills with both you're names on them or a apartment lease stuff like that.they will come to you're house and do a investigation.don't get a lawyer do all the papers yourself for the green card its not gonna go any faster using a lawyer trust me. when they see you're marriage papers they will stamp her visa so she will still be able to work.

Just get a license and get married.
After you get married you can apply for citizenship for her and it will automatically be approved as long as it is before her working visa runs out.
No problem.
If you wait until her visa runs out it gets to be more complicated and she may get fined a few thousand dollars.

I would suggest seeking a consultation with an attorney specializing in immigration. There are ways to handle your situation but I feel it is best to have an expert tell you how to do it. The cost will be worth it.
