It just happened this morning.
I got up at 5:30 to make sure that I gave him his gift so that he could take it to work with him.
He took it, looks up at me and says "I don't celebrate Valentine's Day" and goes back to playing on the computer.
I just went into the office and noticed that he left his gift in there and didn't even bring it with him (I got him a backpack to put all of his tools in for work because the one he has is all torn up).

I wouldn't flip cuz, when I planned his special day I would of made it for both of us, that way if he did forget (and he's a man so he probably will forget) I wouldn't have to feel so bad cuz I planned for it.
You gotta remember, guys don't really care about V day, or any holiday for that fact. They don't spend months thinking and planning like we do, it's just not that important to them. A guy will say "I'm still with you, doesn't that show I love you?". It's just another day to them. One that's loaded with unfair expectations. Just be glad you have a man and celebrate your love everyday! Not just V day.
Plus, if you are making your guys day a special one, but at the same time expecting something back, then that's not very special is it? It's kind of selfish actually. Stop expecting things, and just do stuff cuz you want to! Not cuz you think you'll get some reward! Otherwise you will always be let down and your "gifts" or "special days" won't be geniune.
