Wow, medical school...why don't you pick a time of year when you can take some time off to enjoy your honeymoon and your wedding without having a bunch of work to do for school? Are your summers busy? BTW, if you want a summer date I recommend you figure it out soon so the dates are not all gone...wedding dates can fill up quickly.
I'd base it on when you and your fiancé have some free time. Good luck!

My wife and I got engaged on Valentines Day (wow, just realized that was 9 years ago today! Cool!) We wanted a spring wedding, but we didn't have the time or the money to host a wedding in 2-3 months. So we waiting and saved and planned until we got married in April of the following year (total engagement time of 14 months). But let me point out that during that time we planned, we saved, and we had a date! People who get engaged for the sake of being engaged without a date, or people who have been engaged for 2-3 years, clearly aren't serious. So the actual date you guys get married isn't as important as having one!

Braces, wires, springs, rubber bands, and other appliances can attract food and plaque, which can stain your teeth if not brushed away. Most orthodontists recommend brushing after every meal or snack with fluoridetoothpaste and carefully removing any food that may have gotten stuck in your braces. Some orthodontists will also prescribe or recommend a fluoride mouthwash, which can get into places in your mouth that a toothbrush can't. Flossing & Brushing Tips With Braces To floss your teeth if you have braces, feed the short end of the floss through the space between the main arch wire and the upper portion of the tooth closest to the gum. Use a gentle sawing motion to work the floss on each side of the two teeth the floss is between. Be careful not to pull with too much force around the arch wire. Begin brushing your teeth by using a regular soft toothbrush. Brush down from the top and then up from the bottom on each tooth with braces. Next, brush your teeth with a proxabrush or "Christmas tree" brush. This brush is specially designed for cleaning between two braces. Insert the brush down from the top and then up from the bottom between two braces. Use several strokes in each direction before moving on to the next space between two braces. Repeat the procedure until all teeth have been cleaned. Foods to Avoid While Wearing Braces While wearing braces, most of the foods you like can still be eaten if you cut them into small pieces that can be easily chewed. There are certain foods, however, that can break or loosen your braces and should be avoided, such as: 1.Hard or tough-to-bite foods, such as apples or bagels 2.Chewy foods, such as taffy or caramels 3.Corn on the cob 4.Hard pretzels, popcorn, nuts, and carrots In addition to foods, do not chew ice or bubble gum.

What is your heart telling you? He may say wait til you finish school because planning a wedding is time consuming. He doesn't want to see you fail at school just to plan a wedding that can wait. Finishing your education will help in the long run. Believe me, planning a wedding will stress you out that all you will do for days is cry, do you need that right now while you are in school and studying? Just think about it. And he ain't going nowhere, cause he loves you!

October is amazing. The weather is still nice enough, but not too hot or too cold. The trees are starting to turn, so outdoor pictures can look great. Traveling is usually easier at that time of year.
But hurry up - I understand that October is the new June. Lots of people are looking to get married then.

You'll have to come to an agreement between the 2 of you. If you marry now, will you have enough time to give to him while you're still busy with school?
Will you have enough money to get along on if you marry soon?
Will you have enough time to fix up a nice wedding?

When you learn to use the CAPS LOCK key.
OK, seriously - any time is a good time. If you're not having a big wedding, or if money is not an object, have it next month. It doesn't matter.

How can anyone answer that question for you? Only you know your circumstances. If you can't figure this out should you get married?
