Its a wonderful site to show you how to apply eye make up. The only fault is that it dosen't explain the terms "highlighter", "midtone", and "accent" so I'll do it for you. :)
Your highlighter is the lightest shade, its is very sheer and typically you can hardly tell its there. Sometimes it has a bit of a shine, or sparkle. Depending on your eyes (again I refer you to the site above), you might have to place it in different areas but generally its on the browbone, which means right under your eyebrow. A darker more noticable shade would look silly here so remember to use a light highlighter.
Your midtone is exactly what it sounds like, it is the mid shade. Typically it is the same color as the accent just more subtle and lighter. Your midtone might be a pale green while your accent is a darker one, or your midtone might be a tan color and your accent a dark brown.
Your accent is applied last (just follow the site) and it is the darkest and most noticable of the shades. It will draw attention to where it is placed, and where that is depends on your eye type.
And above all, remember to blend when you're finished.
As for blush, thats easier. Nowadays you do not use much blush. Many girls are opting for bronzing poweder rather the blush. I myself still like a little blush and it is applied on the cheek bones (if you're not sure where these are make a fish face and they'll becoe easy to find). Apply two subtle dots, one on either cheek, and blend again. You want to blend in a circular motion and move the color backwards and downwards.
You should wear hardly any blush, just enough for a hint of color.
Good luck! :)

I don't have website links but here are some suggestions:
First of all, think "less is more." When you apply your make-up make sure you apply a little at a time and be sure to blend it well into your lids for a more natural look. It is always easier to add more make-up than to have to take away...
So, onto business... (suggested color for brown to green eyes) On the outer lid and a bit into the crease of your eye, use a nice green color to complement your eyes (green is a better choice than blue because it is a "warmer" color). Then, right above the crease blend a natural color brown to accent the green. Again, make sure to blend! Then, apply a touch of frosted shadow in cream just in the middle of the lid, to light up your eyes. Finish off with eyeliner across your top lid and halfway across from the outside of your lower lids. It is also easier to apply with the pencil sideways rather than having the tip point staight into your eye.
Smudge eyeliner with light strokes using a brush to soften your look. If you like, you can lightly dip your brush in green and make a "smokey" effect on the eyeliner on your lower lid. If you do this, just be careful not to load your brush too much as to irritate your eyes with the powder. If you want to call more attention to your eyes, use a more subdued lip color. If you lips are luscious, play'em up with a complimentary color.
To bring your make up (and face) "into" your clothing, I'd suggest you put on a set of jade or emerald accessories you absolutely love (earrings plus necklace perhaps??). There are also a lot of costume jewelry out there that are just darling. If it is something you love, it will show in the way you carry yourself and it will radiate your beauty. Accessorizing with green will bring your whole "look" together and bring in the green make-up into your whole outfit.
As for the blush, it looks most natural on the apple of your cheeks. Again, blend, blend, blend! AND us a little bit at a time.
Smile at the mirror and brush on the blush with circular motions onto the rounded part of your cheeks. The secret here is to use a natural color that goes well with your skin tone.
I hope this helps. If the greens aren't your choice of color, choose ones that you like and apply using the same concepts above.
Good luck! Have fun, feel pretty THEN look pretty!!
