Don't race. That can lead to premature ejaculation (when you finish way too soon, like long before your partner) and it's a habit that's hard to break. Some guys take the reverse approach: they do each other and the first one done loses. Either way, hurrying is such a waste of a good time.

Actually it is not uncommon among male adolescents. If these events become a substitute for any heterosexual relations than I would suspect there are other feelings at hand.

Normal if you are teens and enjoying yourselves, lots of guys and their friends do it, just don't admit it. Doesn't mean you are gay, just having fun and exploring your sexuality. Great way to learn about male intimacy and how each guy is different.
