Umm toughy. I would say life is probably how you spend the days until you die, either with happiness, saddness, angriness, jealousy, or other emotions. or you could go with dictionary.com 's answer--the condition that distinguishes organisms from inorganic objects and dead organisms, being manifested by growth through metabolism, reproduction, and the power of adaptation to environment through changes originating internally.

I like your question. It seems there are multiple definitions for that simple term and many will skirt the issue with rude remarks. Life is simply a gift given to each one of us. Life is a privilege. A privilege requires responsibility and accountability to maintain. This could be the reason we need to regroup and ask this question of life...mistreatment of privilege.

no one can say what life is and what it means,nobody knows,all we really know is that we live and we die,everything people think they know is not true,everything is learned we believe it because it is what was taught to us,because it was an the 5o'clock news or because we read it some where,we live our lives on opinions and guesses of other people not on any concrete evidence so no one can answer this and if they do it is an opinion or something that was taught to them
