I'm gonna be making a short movie this summer before I go to college and I'm having a hard time thinking of names for the characters. I need male and female names, first and last (not necessarily together, just either/or). The main characters are wealthy kids and it's set in a classic looking old estate. I was thinking names similar to the ones in Pride & Prejudice, like Elizabeth Bennet, because this movie is actually going to be a lot like that except set in modern times but with a classic feel.

The best answer goes to whoever has the best QUALITY names... if you give me a list of the 100 most popular baby names from 2005, that's not what I'm looking for. I want names that sound like they were used a long time ago, because the families in the movie are pretty much assumed to be descended from English old money.

The last names are especially important. Like I said, names like Bennet and Darcy (from Pride & Prejudice) are exactly what I'm looking for.

Thanks=)

Montgomery is a classic english last name as is Spencer, Moore, Sheridan and Beckett. First names like Anne, Victoria, Emily, Caroline, Catherine, Gillian, Skye, Mary and Alice are all classics, but if you are looking for prestige there are Paige, Allison, Brooke, Blaine, Sydney for girls and Hunter, Marshall, Ian, Cameron, Carter, Chase, Sebastian, Miles and Trevor for guys. Good luck.

For first names I'd think Annabelle, James, Dorothy, Madison, or Thomas. Any of these can be used as last names I guess. Brennan, Hartshorn, Carmody, etc are some nice old-sounding last names. Good luck with the movie!
