MLB debut for Yankees on 5/31/89 or 9/5/89 ( some websites says he played summer of 89 for NYY columbus team and then joined team in september others say 5/31 was debut)
NFL deubt for Atlanta falcons in 9/10/89
either way, MLB debut is first although both were in 1989.
