I have been a dedicated watcher of American Idol and it seems they are moving the show along faster. I thought they had a whole hour on the group tryout and an hour on individual. What do you think?

They definitely are! I've watched all the seasons and every single episodes. They always have spent 3 episodes on Hollywood week- one for groups, one for solos, and one for the final judgement, but this time they cut everything into one show! I hate it, because all they show is the drama, not all the good people. On the bright side, now we will get to see individual performances and vote earlier. I love this show!

Too much of the tryouts and not enough of the Hollywood part. I would have liked to seen more of the stuff from Hollywood and see how the other people did.

I also love Idol, and I'd have to agree that it seems like it's going a lot faster. Lower ratings, perhaps...?

I thought the same thing! I think they have already picked the final 24! That's so weird!! It seems like they just finished the 1st crazy auditions

Yes, usually it feels like it is dragging on and it is not like that this year. I think they realize they have to change it up a bit to keep their followers interested.
