It's impossiable to be both a Christian and a Redpublican. That means the lie required to profess being a Christian Republican automatically eliminates you from Christanity.

Exactly. Love thy neighbor was omitted from the neo-conservative version.

I am a Catholic who votes Republican because they (for the most part) vote pro-life. Especially this past election, where some Supreme Court Justices were being replaced. Abortion is probably the sickest thing mankind has ever done, yet we have so many who do not have the facts and somehow believe that it's a woman's right. So in that sense, I don't believe you can be a Christian and a Democrat either.

If we were true Christians, we would have little money because we would use it all to help others, and I wouldn't be typing this on my computer. We all must make some decisions.

What a crock!!! I have never met a democrat that fully understood the words "Love thy neighbor as thyself." They continuously toss folks overboard to save their own sinking ship such as in Cambodia, Somalia, and now Iraq. I'm sure Afganistan is not far behind. They don't mind the killing as long as someone else is doing it. They continuously hee-haw over injustice here and around the world but only manage to talk it to death rather then really doing something about it. Human life only has value if its American and is out of the womb. Their deserved reputations for throwing money at problems is well established. But to actually move your *** to help your neighbor who is continually brutalized by their own countrymen and foreign fighters trucked in for that purpose---that entire concept escapes them. The people in Southeast asia suffered from North Vietnamese aggression which the media just couldn't quite get a handle on, and the libs had us run off and leave them high and dry to fend for themselves which proved to be a gigantic disaster. three million lives later still not a clue. Thats why christian values found a home on the right. You have pitched them overboard and the right has picked them up. The left has become the party without and has backed it up with attacks on religious rights across the country. So don't spout tolerance. That is something the left is not known for unless in involves anti-government, anti-religious rhetoric.

Im going to do something pickers and choosers don't like to do.
let the bible intrepret itself. lets see what the bible says on this subject.

1) beware of fales religion

And in answer Jesus said to them: “Look out that nobody misleads YOU; for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many.

2) jesus does not belong to the ways of this world...

but the anxieties of this system of things and the deceptive power of riches and the desires for the rest of the things make inroads and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful

3) To the contrary, continue to love YOUR enemies and to do good and to lend [without interest], not hoping for anything back; and YOUR reward will be great, and YOU will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind toward the unthankful and wicked.

4) In reply he said to them: “My mother and my brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.” (not to much of that going around )

5) by being carried away by anxieties and riches and pleasures of this life, they are completely choked and bring nothing to perfection.

6) No house servant can be a slave to two masters; for, either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stick to the one and despise the other. YOU cannot be slaves to God and to riches.”

7) For those ruling are an object of fear, not to the good deed, but to the bad. Do you, then, want to have no fear of the authority? Keep doing good, and you will have praise from it; for it is God’s minister to you for your good.

8) Look out: perhaps there may be someone who will carry YOU off as his prey through the philosophy and empty deception according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary things of the world and not according to Christ;

9) But wicked men and impostors will advance from bad to worse, misleading and being misled.

10) YOU see that a man is to be declared righteous by works, and not by faith alone.

But now YOU take pride in YOUR self-assuming brags. All such taking of pride is wicked.

Do not be loving either the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him; 16 because everything in the world—the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of one’s means of life—does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world. 17 Furthermore, the world is passing away and so is its desire, but he that does the will of God remains forever.

HOPE THIS CAN HELP ANSWER YOUR QUESTION.
I PERSONALLY BELIEVE THAT AMERICAN POLITICS IS NO DIFFERENT THAN THE EXTREME MUSLIMS THAT USE GOD TO JUSTIFY THEIR SELF SERVING AGENDAS.

YOU DECIDE ! !

Oh goody. Another uneducated member of the lunatic left-wing who can't even string together a coherent sentence, let alone actually reason using the Bible, or figure out that using that little sliver of logic that's in there, it's impossible to be a democrat and a Christian too, considering that demoncrats support the slaughter of children and sexual debauchery.

I think you go too far in saying that you are eliminated by choosing the wrong political party. But I will agree with you that neither the Democrat nor Republican platforms reflect the type of structure a certain Carpenter born in Bethlehem would approve of.

Did you need help reading your Bible? poor baby!
I can quote it to you if you like. As a Christian Republican, I promise I read it more than most. At least 30 minutes before bedtime just like my Mom taught me over 45 years ago when I started reading. I think you missed the "love thy brother" & "judge not, that ye be not judged" sections though.

Howso? I think you misunderstand what one or both terms mean.

Republicans are typically conservative, both fiscally and socially, meaning that they believe in thrift and tradition. Christianity weighs heavily traditional morays, values and norms in its tenants, so to be a conservative and a true follower of Christ tend to be mutually symbiotic rather than divergent.

You can be a conservative while still being compassionate. Republicans believe in individual compassion, not in forcible compassion imposed by the State.

I think you really ought to reconsider posting blatant accusations and affirmations of negative approbation in your questions as reasoning for believing as you do. I refuse to argue with devout expressions of belief if founded on reason and linear thinking. However, both many Christians and many anti-Christians utilize neither of those in their postings here or elsewhere in silico.

I am a Christian, Jesus Loving, father, husband, son and I love my country the United States of America. I choose to vote Republican because I am opposed to abortion, gay marriage and high taxes. I admit to my God that I am a sinner and ask His forgiveness. Because He forgives me I must also forgive your ignorance.

It is based on an individual basis and is just as crazy as saying that all Bluies are racist because of Robert Byrd, the klan leader is a democrat. This is about individuals and not partys.

I hate to break it to you, but you're dead WRONG on this one.
Maybe it is impossible to be a Christian "Redpublican" as you say..but, "Republican", on the other hand..is not impossible in the least. #1, Politics have absolutely nothing to do with if you're going to heaven or hell or not..and #2, who are you to judge?..My God will judge us ALL someday:]

John 3:16.

God Bless You.
