do you have to pay for socom combined assault account?

my brother just got socom combined assult and he told me before, not to make an account on his socom 3 because you need a credit card, then i read the terms of socom combined assult and you need a credit card for that to. im just wondering if you will be charged for making a socom combined assult account on your credit card.

you aren't charged but they do take out $1 & then put it back in. they just want to make sure that it is a valid cc . you don't need a cc to play but you need one to verify & you need a verified name to use clan lists, have a friends list or keep your rank. but if you make a name on socom3 you can use it on combine assault or vice versa. (you don't have to verify a name on combined assault if you have a verified name on socom3 )also only one name per cc# ....
