I believe that Sidney Crosby has a really good shot at staying the points leader and winning MVP, but watch out for Ovechkin. I think that he's going to break away from the rest of the pack and win the MVP and be the points leader. As for the Stanley Cup, they've got no chance against proven teams like the Buffalo Sabres and the Calgary Flames, unless they acquire two solid, and I mean solid, defensemen that can play great defense and produce offensively.

GO SABRES!!!!
FIRE BETTMAN!!!!

Yes, he will probably stay as the points leader. He is surrounded by players such as Malkin, Recchi, and Gonchar who can continue to add up his assists, not to mention is knack for scoring goals himself.

He's definitely shown that he's MVP material this year. Leading the league in points at such a young age, turning the Penguins team around from a dismal season last year, and playing at a level where most good players strive to be, unlike 2nd year players usually do.

But when it comes to winning the Stanley Cup this year, thats probably not gonna happen. The east alone has 2 teams in Buffalo and NJ that will stand in their way. And even if they somehow get past them, SJ, Anaheim, Nashville, Detroit, Dallas are waiting and will be too much for a young and unexperienced Penguins squad to handle.

Crosby will be the point leader.. unless Lecavalier keeps it up, right now he is owning. Crosby will be MVP, unless what I said before happens again. And winning the Cup.. Malkin + Crosby + Staal = Adds up to only like 18 or so years older than Chelios. They are too young, but I believe my home team, the Buffalo Sabres, will win it. Depth, speed, great goaltending, great players, great fans, great city, great momentum, great fan base, and great support. Crosby will also get most assists. Or Briere might sneak up in there.

he will stay as the point leader and possibly win the MVP too, but i doubt that pens would win the cup

looking at their pace and tremendous talent, its very likely they might take Stanley to their new home or where ever they go to.

He will do the first two but he ain't winning a cup yet. Give the Pens like 2 more years to mature then they will unstoppable.

MVP yes, but I really think the Cup is a stretch this year. They're just too young, overall, but perhaps next year!

This year? As much as I love my Penguins I don't think so. In his Career? Yeah I think he could take the Art Ross, The Hart, and the Cup in the same year.
