Incorporating values into a unit?

Question

How would you incorporate student centered, mutual respect, human potential, continuos improvement, and resource efficiency into a unit?

The unit would be in math, Algebra

For what subject? That's a lot to tackle in one unit unless you plan on spanning the unit over a long period of time. In my district, high school students take a class called life skills. The curriculum covers most of those topics over the course of an 18 week semester.
