First tell me if your a man or a woman.
Next tell me if you think it is harder to be a man or a woman.
And last tell me in a short answer why you think this. Here are some examples,
A man might think it is harder to be a man because he is expected to go to war so he is looked on as expendable.
A woman might feel it's harder to be a woman because maybe she has been over powered by a male who took advantage of her.
A man might think it's harder to be a woman because they must bear children.
A woman might think it's harder to be a man because a relative of hers has lost his children to divorce

I am a woman and it is harder to be a woman then a man because men have all the power. I don't see that much companies run by women and most people do say this is a man's world in which women are frown upon and are second class citizens. Most men think that women should just stay at home and clean house while they bring home the money.

I am a woman
it is harder to be a woman
because we carry the child we give birth to the children and the man can just get up and walk away with out even blinking an eye and we are already bonded to the child before they are even born....then we look after and raise the child...there are only a handful of men that take the responsibilities of raising their children on a day to day basis....it takes more than going to work to raise a child. we are the ones that must look for child care worry every second when most men do not

I am a woman. I think is harder being a woman. Woman have the common misconception that they are the ones that are supposed to take care of the kids and the house. They are said to supposed to have dinner on the table for them.

And also if you look at the job market, there are a whole lot more jobs for guys than there are for gals.

My husband feel that it is an equal job to take care of the kids and house. But since I am a stay at home mom I feel it is my job to do that.

Some women feel angry because men think this. I don't.

I'm a man and I think women have it harder. The instinct to nurture is almost overpowering which causes stress, lack of sleep, and many other problems that men don't want to hear about. Forget about war or providing for the family or protection, have you ever stood in front of a pis-sed off woman?

I'm a woman.

I think that it's equally, but differently, hard to be a man or a woman.

I could tell you why I like being a woman and the lack of some of those things could tell you why it's hard to be a man, but I think there are a lot of things that are hard about being a woman too. There are expectations on both side that can be hard to live up to and there are difficulties to be overcome in fulfilling your role or denying it.

I am a woman and I believe it is harder to be a woman in todays society. I feel I am expected to be a mother, daughter, wife, sexual being, provider, employee/business owner, friend, mentor, housekeeper, cook, errand runner, etc (just to name a few things) all while being hormonal, keeping myself attractive and making sure all those balls stay up in the air. I get no sick time, vacations or special treatment for all that I do. And as the icing on the cake, I'm expected to be "in the mood" on demand.

You bare children, You have to put up with work, kids and your husband. PMS, Female problems. Women mainly take care of the kids then men do. Woman are expected to cook, clean, work and take care of the kids, and still look hot.

woman
I think its harder to be a woman
We have to conform to higher standards, we are expected to look a certain way, its harder to be take serious if we look a certain way, we have to work and take care of children, being a single woman with children, we get paid less and have less opportunity, most of the time in a divorce we give up a lot of money and get more responsibility especially with children. We get less sleep, when our work day ends it just begins somewhere else, We get less personal time, we have more thing to take care of.

I am a woman.
I think it is harder to be a man because girls expect so much from them. It also isn't socially acceptable for men to show emotions. Men have to do all the sh!tty chores like yard work and anything that involves lifting anything.

I am a woman and it's harder to be a woman because we have to clean the house, work a job, be Mom, referee, taxi service, gofer, psychologist, playmate (in more ways than one), organized, easy to approach, loving, and keep a level head.
