Who is your favorite player off this wonderful team?
Mine is Maxim Lapierre & Mike Johnson both amazing players!

like Mike Johnson, but why can't people just answer the question? She did not ask your favorite team. If you do not like Montreal don't answer!!!!!!!

My favorite player on the Canadiens currently is Saku Koivu. In the history of the club, my favorite Canadiens are Guy Lafleur, Howie Morenz and Jean Beliveau.

I'm not a fan of the Canadiens so that is why I would have to say Souray.
The reason is that when you are cheering for the opponent, you definitely notice how he can shut down and intimidate the other team's players, therefore, he earns my respect.

I'm from Belgium and I've seen once one of their match (against florida) in the Centre Bell in Montreal, that was wonderful to see how great was the match and spectators!
But I don't know the names of the players so I can't say. :p

The Habs are the new Thrashers. IE dirty team.
And I root for the Habs (although not my #1 choice).
On the Habs I really like Ryder. Have followed him since his days in Hull. Definitely a class act.

The Habs are my worst team in the NHL tied with Toronto, but i love Saku Koivu. He's finnish and I love about every finnish hockey player. I wish he played on another team, because then I wouldn't have to bother rooting for him which would help the habs which is always a terrible thing to do. It would be sweet if he played in Minnesota with his brother Mikko who I love more.
