Even though i would love to go to a state university, i really really really want to go to UC DAVIS! i just love the smell of the farms. I have plenty of Extra Curricular activities and have attended leadership programs. I volunteer at a hospital, i will be doing an internship over there too. I havent taken my SAT however. I am planning on taking some community colleges over the summer to increase my GPA. So is there anyway i have a chance... btw.. i am an immigrant and i live in Richmond, Ca.... A very dangerous place to live in.

None of the CSU schools are very selective -- so you have a shot.

All of the UC schools are selective -- especially UC-B, UCLA, UCSD and UC-Davis. I don't think your chances of getting in there (or any UC school) are very good. however, if you go to a CSU school and do well, you could transfer as a Junior.

If you want to go to a UC school, then you will have to work hard. The likelihood of you getting in straight from high school is very low (I agree with the other responders).
However, don't let that stop you!
Your other option is to go through the Transfer Admission Guarantee program. Go to a local community college (save yourself some money by not paying UC tuition rates) and work really really hard to get good grades. If your grades are good enough, you will be admitted later on as a transfer student. No one will know you didn't spend your first 2 years at UC Davis if you don't tell them.
Not all is lost if you didn't do well in high school. Your road to college will be different and it will be more difficult, but nothing is impossible with enough desire. Check out the following link for more information, then go work hard and believe in yourself.

Trust me you can get into SDSU with your gpa as long as you werent one of the last ones to turn in your applications. I know plenty of people that go there with pretty low gpas.

eeeek relies upon. possibly? in case your SAT ratings are particularly sturdy. the actual incontrovertible reality that you dont do something, no longer so sturdy. and in case you're taking AP instructions and your GPA is 3.3 then possibly yet idk, sturdy success.
