I really don't know if I failed a test. It's literature. I got all 100's on my other tests in literature but I know that at least I got 10 wrong on this test. Recently, I've been crying because I seriously don't like tests. I get very good grades. My last report card was a 97.5 average. I'm having friend issues also. My teachers know about my crying, because I told them. They said that I have to do this by myself.
But what I'm really worked up on is that I know I didn't do so well on my test. The day I had this test I had two other one's the same day. (Spanish - hard and Religion) This means that I had 3 tests in that one day. This literature test was for the whole book. Not just an chapter. But I really did study!

First, it doesn't sound like you failed, especially if there are 50-100 questions on this test. Second of all, please don't get frustrated; during my sophomore year of high school, I would get so worked up over trigonometry that I would start crying in my other classes, and I truly wanted my life to be over. Just take a few deep breaths, and remember two things: first, in the scheme of things, one test won't matter at all, and second, your worth is not defined by how you do on tests. If you are friendly, kind, helpful, a good listener, a great omelette maker, whatever, that contributes far more to your worth than one test score. If you find out that you actually failed the test (I mean an actual F, not a B or anything), talk to your teacher to see what you can do, maybe talk to an adult or a counselor about your feelings in general, and remember that one messed up test isn't the end of the world. I used to get myself worked up by saying that one low test score meant I would never graduate high school, never get a ob, and never accomplish anything; later, I realized that it could be far worse. I learned to put things in perspective; you could be alone in a war torn country with no family, friends, or means to receive an education, you could be dying from a terminal illness, etc. Remember your strengths and blessings in life whenever you feel horrible, and eventually you'll be ok. Besides, if you just had one bad test and all your other scores have been excellent, it was just a slight funk of which you can pull yourself out. I have faith that things will work out for you.

Ok, You think you got 10 wrong, but we don't know how many questions were on the test. If it were 100 questions, that is 90%, if it is 50 questions it is 80%. So, it may not be as bad as you think, especially if there is a curve.

If you did fail the test, it will not have too great an impact on your final grade. You can also talk to the teacher to see if you can do some extra work or something to bring up your final grade.

It is important to remember that everyone has a bad day at some time. Even if you fail, chalk it up to a bad day, shake it off, and see if you can bring your grade up by doing some extra work.

i know this is a complicated situation....but you can overcome if you set some goals in your life. Aim for something big like getting into a good college and work towards it. Allocate some time for it daily and go by the schedule daily to make it as a habit. Don't get dejected just because of a single failure. Your goal is your destiny. You may face some stumbles in your quest to reach your destiny but you will NEVER fail in reaching your destiny if you have the much needed WILL. Appreciate yourself, try to learn from your mistakes. Not all people are multitaskers..think that you might have done better, may be the top scorer if you had each exam on different days. Rome was not built in a day..it will take a while for you to get back on track..Diamond needs to be polished to get its brightness..similarly we human beings should go through these obstacles to gain the precious experience..this will help you to correct yourself and reach your destiny...Regarding friends issue do the same...fix a time and wait for things to settle down..if it doesn't happen don't think too much on this...if they are true friends of yours then i swear it wont take much time to settle down...Think wise & twice, draw your growth path, give priorities to the work you do based on your goal and All the very best!

Life is one big test. Wait till you get to college. Just realize that's what school is all about. If you can't handle the pressure now, you are going to have one hell of a time later on in life, in college, and your profession. Don't be so hard on yourself. We all have failed a test or two at one point. Some more than that, but they were still successful.

I wouldn't worry about failing a test. Try to work out the "friend issues". When you're feeling better go back and talk with your teachers about a makeup or extra credit work.

Don't worry about what you cannot change. It sounds like you are doing well in most of your subjects, so just keep studying and doing your best. You will do better on the next test.
Keep up the good work, and no more crying. I think it was Tom Hanks who said, "There's no crying in high school".

What is your question? Focus, it is important. No one likes tests, exams, reviews or presentations at work - they are just a fact of life. Study hard, do your best & realize you can not control when tests are given.
