A fabulous actor! He is unique, he is genuine, he totally thinks outside the box and takes on some very interesting and quirky characters.
That Johnny is anti-Hollywood and does not allow himself to get sucked into that vortex, is wonderful and makes what he does more enticing.

One of my favorite actors besides Tom Hanks. I don't particularly like all of his movies, but I do like the characters he plays. Each movie he gives you a different person... which is nice. The one actor who can change his look, voice, and persona.. he can make himself completely unrecognizable in a movie. Within 5 minutes of watching a movie you completely forget he's Johnny Depp and think that he's the character. He made Captain Jack Sparrow an icon.. He can play a sweet lovable character, a sadistic killer, a lunatic, a cross-dresser, an asshole debaucher.. He's very brave in his choices of movies. He's found success with a string of unsuccessful movies.. not many actors can make a career out of complete flops. I also love that he's worked so much with one of my favorite directors, Tim Burton. And worked with another one of my favorite directors, Robert Rodriguez.

He's Funny, he can act he's been in classic movies particularly working with Tim Burton and I haven't seen a bad film with him in. Speaking from a straight male (i.e. not biased by drool) perspective he's one of the best actors around and one of the few that can make me interested in a movie just to see his performance.

He is a very good actor, but he is weird. I was watching Charlie & the Chocolate Factory the other day and he creeped me out. But, again he is a very good actor.

He is different. Not my style for an actor. Not that I think he's a bad actor, I am just not into him.

love him, so talented & i think the best looking male actor (male in general) on the planet. love the way he picks & chooses what movies he wants to do, never been let down yet.

Even if he wasn't as heartbreakingly sexy as he is, I would still say he's a very talented actor.

He is terrific, not only he can act in serious movies, but he can just be SO funny at the same time. He is a great family man too I bet...
