In a couples massage where you're both customers (that is, one of you is not massaging the other), you're lying side-by-side and getting massaged by different people. As for Kundalini, Google it. It's too long to paraphrase, but it sounds like it's focused on bringing harmony to body and spirit by tapping into some form of healing energy.
