I'm nearly in tears, already have been a couple times, becuase my stomach ALWAYS hurts. I don't get a break. I can't eat a thing... everything makes it worse and I am at the toilet on my knees at least 3 times a day... I tried the whole waiting to get up for 30 minutes while choking down a few saltines before rising out of bed... I'm taking my vitamin... I am eating plain things... I'm waiting to drink liquids until after my meal, but liquids are SO hard to do, got barely any so far... I tried ginger ale... I have pre-natal B12 suckers on the way but they wont be here for 3 days. Someone help me survive!

~as dumb as this sounds, exercise and do what ever you need to do to laugh - a lot! both of these activities build up the appetite.
I'll say a prayer or two for you as well Sweetheart. God bless you both! :)

I am so so sorry to hear this. I had the worst morning sickness (up to 8 times vomiting per day) from week 5 until week 20. In fact, I am 20 weeks and 4 days, and this is the longest I have gone without vomiting. (3 days). I know this doesn't help, but it will end, and you will get your appetite back. Just go with what you can handle. Saltines, soup (although I threw up liquids way too easily). I found comfort foods to be easiest to eat (frozen pizza, spaghetti, etc.). Just listen to any cravings you have. Some things that worked for me were 1) taking zofran every day! After 14 weeks I cut down to 1/4 of a pill and it kept the nausea down! Ask your doctor if it's OK for you. It didn't make me tired at all, and I was still super nauseous...but it reduced the vomiting. 2) pregnancy pop drops from mimi maternity. i don't know how they do it, but they work so well! try it! 3) sucking on hard ginger candy, and chewing sugared ginger. it did help calm the stomach. Unfortunately I will say that even with these remedies, I was miserable for 15 weeks. I never imagined it would be so bad, for so long. And I know you know this, but it is a good sign for your baby. I hope you find some relief....

Well I was the same way up till like almost 6 months.. it really sucks!!! I was on the toilet all the time!! You need to try to drink as much as possible.. I could handle powerade or Gatorade in small amounts like a sip then wait like 10 min. You need to eat small amounts of food so that it is not to much on your stomach. The food thing is OK.. do not go by what everyone said on here the key is keeping down liquids.. you will suffer way before the baby will. Your body will give what is needed for the baby. I lost like 15-20 lbs. and she was fine if you go like 8-12 hours without something to drink then you need to go to the doc. ASAP! Other than that I had to get used to throwing up.. I would eat what I wanted and just know later it would be a restroom trip to throw it up but at least I got something in !!

Make sure you take the pre- natal vitamins at night before bed.
Ask the doc about anti nausea pills

I have two children a 2 year old and a 3 year old. Morning sickness, daytime sickness, nighttime sickness sucks and you cant really do much about it! There is no use going to the doc cause theres nothing he can do. But you can ask if there are some naseaua meds safe to take. Cause you have to eat even if you get sick. Your baby needs the noutrients!

Mine was the bad too. I stopped eating and only drank but i got so sick by the time 10 wks came. I was hospitalized and on an iv couldnt leave till i ate and kept it down for 24 hrs. It sucked ***! Trust me you dont wanna do it!

It seems you could be dehydrated, relax and calm down. Try to eat some fruits, cold fruits such as melons, drink something with electrolytes such as gatorade or water that has them added to it. Drink lots of water! I don't know if taking your vitamin is any good right now, I usually kept throwing up my vitamin, until I was better again. Don't wait to drink liquids though, it's very important. If these symptoms last more than hours and you are in real pain call your ob/gyn.

For the first two months I was pregnant I spent more time in the bathroom than any where else. Finally after much complaining to my doc he put me in the hospital on IV fluids for three days, they say sometimes this is what it takes for your body to stop refusing food when your pregnant, the day I got released I went to a family reunion and ate everything, it was awesome. Plead with your doctor to help you. On my second pregnancy I got sick once in the evening, so there is hope. Good luck.

understanding that there is a "process" to see your doc for the first pre-natal check up...this still isn't healthy. you should go to an urgent care. not an ER...you'll wait forever there. just go to a local urgent care. they'll most likely put you on an iv to prevent what could already be dehydration. best of luck.

chances are, it will get better...(only a few percentage have "morning" sickness throughout the whole pregnancy).

Is it because food is making you nauseous or is it that your stomach hurts for another reason? If it's nausea, try some very bland broths and crackers to get you over the hump - this will pass. If that doesn't help, ask your doctor or the pharmacist for suggestions. There may be an over the counter product you could use that is safe for you and baby. If your stomach hurts for another reason, see your doc right away.

Do you take the prenatal vitiams when you wake up? Cause they made me sooo sick. try taking them right before you go to bed. Like take them when you are falling asleep, cause they wont make you sick if your sleeping. Try Jamba Juice. Thats all I ate at first. And I am having the same problem this pregnancy too. dont eat big meals. eat little snacks through the day even if you arnt hungry. (if you can) but i really think taking the pills at night will help.

I had a simular prob but not as severe. Ginger snaps helped alot. Also Peppermint Tea. Also the BRAT diet is really plain. Bananas Rice Applesauce and Toast (dry) Totally sucks but cant hurt to try.

Try to relax because if you are upset it will make it worse.

Have told your doctor about this? I had similiar symptoms and it turned out I was dehydrated. I was given an IV and some antinausea pills. Dehydration can get so bad that you throw up everything(including liquids). Saltines never worked for me, but for some reason popcorn did. I hope you feel better soon, this can really be crappy.
