I've gone to a bunch of sites that have bra size calculators, but all of them say different things, i've gotten results between 34AA-34C

You are definitely not going to be a 34 on the band, because your bust measurement is only 33 inches. You may have a small back, which is why the 'add 5 rule' doesn't work and in your case you may only need to add 3, making your band size 32 and your cup size A. So I would try a 32A and see how that fits.
In fact, if you measure your upper ribcage, (above the breasts & under the armpits) you can double check the band size. If this measurement is 31-33 inches, then definitely go for 32A.

I just tossed my Penney's catalog.
I can't picture an AA that is about flat
you got 4" I would bet the 34B would be comfortable and that is what your trying to achieve.
I would sooner you without.
