I think this question needs to be qualified better. I think it is referring to the NHL, not the NBA.

The biggest trades may have already been made i.e. Nagy, Stuart....

Bertuzzi will be back shortly and will be moving somewhere as a renta player. Detroit seems very likely.

Since the Forsberg trade has taken place, and is probably the highest profile trade before the deadline, the next biggest will involve the Ducks in Anaheim and St. Louis. Brian Burke likes to make a splash and get interviewed by the Hockey News, so he will go after Keith T and Bill G.

don't think you can get bigger than the forsberg deal.

other trades, though?

ryan smith is a possibility in edmonton. it will be really tough for them to make the playoffs and he is unrestricted next year. that being said he is mr. oiler every bit as much as stevie y was mr. red wing. ultimately though, the oilers have a history of being cheap and he will either sign a big contract in the next few days or be traded. if he does go, toronto is on the bubble and he would fit right in there. they have problems with injured forwards and might lose darcy tucker to free agency and mats sundin to retirement in the offseason. also, the leafs have enough young talent to make a deal possible.

dallas is also a team that could use smith and has a history of picking up such players at the deadline.

the blues, blackhawks and panthers are all rumoured to be selling as well. so look for bill guerin, keith tcachuk, eric brewer, adrian aucoin, martin lapointe, olli jokinen and maybe olan nolan of the 'yotes to be on the move. i would say bertuzzi as well but he needs to get back on the ice first.

they could even though it might want to be very complicated. After the commerce cut-off date there is in elementary words about 60 video games left. i do not imagine that they'd be in a position to hit 30 HR with ninety RBI's in 60 video games. In 1997 Mark McGwire were given traded on July 31. He hit 24 HR for the Cardinals after the commerce and ended up in sixteenth position in the NL MVP balloting. In 1998 Randy Johnson were given traded on July 31. He went 10-a million for the Astros after the traded and ended up in twenty first position in the NL MVP and seventh in the NL Cy youthful balloting. In 1984 Rick Sutcliffe were given traded from the Indians to the Cubs in the previous the cut-off date on June 13. He went 16-a million for the Cubs and finished 4th in the MVP balloting and received the Cy youthful Award in the NL.

Look toward San Jose and Anaheim. The Sharks are threatened by the Nashville trade and Anaheim wants to win at least playoff series.

Maybe Forsberg being traded, or Martin Biron being traded for a defenseman or 2, or another goalie and a defenseman.

i think it was avery to the rangers...he had an assist his first game, and a goal at his home debut. i think he'll make the rangers a better team but otherwise it'll be if the flyers trade foresburg somewhere, they've already proven they can't win (at all) with out him
