For the Raptors to win in the playoffs they are going to need some star talent at either shooting guard or small forward. Every championship calibur team in recent years has had a player at one of these two positions that allowed them to run the floor and push the ball in transition, as well as add a perimeter threat.

For the Raptors to get that they will either need Bargnani to step up his play substantially, or make a trade this week.

Otherwise Bosh is probably tied with Orlando's Howard as the best young big man in all of basketball, and TJ Ford and Jose Calderon have learned to become a dynamic duo of point-guardiness. I see this team being a championship contender in a couple of years, just not in the immediate future.

The Toronto Chris Boshes may not be able to do damage in the playoffs but they are definitely good enough to win the Atlantic Division in convincing fashion. You better believe it. Bosh is an all-star caliber player and he still has untapped potential. If he ever starts going crazy on blocks, watch out. The supporting cast is coming around and the multi-talented pieces that Colangelo obtained in the off season are starting to come together in the run-and-gun offense of the "Suns from north of the border." Garbajosa is a nice addition with his ability to step out and hit the three to spread the defense. Ford may not be as efficient as Nash dishing the ball but he is a talented young player who can lead the franchise for years to come. Backing him up is Calderon, who is already a solid pg who can help the team in limited minutes. Number 1 pick in the draft Bargnani is almost a clone of Garbajosa, with a lot more potential. They also have athletic wings who can slash and hit an occasional three when needed in Parker, Graham, and Jones. Nesterovic is a serviceable substitution to eat up minutes when Bosh needs a rest. In short, this team is very young, very talented, and will only get better. You'll have to wait a few years for them to become a serious contender though. Hope this helped!

No way dude the problem is that the Division they play in are slackin so if the raptors make it they would most likely be eliminated in the first round because they are not ready for those big teams that make it through hardwork

I think that they are to, I am not sure why they don't win more games. If I were them I would play Calderon more than Ford. Calderon plays with so much more energy.

NO. They are in a division that if you finish 41-41 you finish in 1st place. Don't expect them to go too far.
