You need to see a lawyer who specializes in this field. They need to write what's known as the "Articles Of Incorporation" for your organization, and it's to be filed with the state you live in. The lawyer will tell you the rest.

IF You are under 18, See your parents. They can sign so that all the paper work is done right. Do you remember Trevor, he started a non profit that gave blankets to the homeless. He was 10.

I don't think you have to be a specific age. Until you are eighteen you are not allowed to sign any legal documents so if you're younger than that you might need to get a parent to help you if you need to sign anything legal. Otherwise, I don't think you need to be a specific age.
