I think that Rudy is going to be tough to beat, especially if Hillary is the Democratic candidate. There are a number of liberals who don't care for her and woudl be able to stomach Rudy's views on abortion and the like. I don't think the same could be said for those conservative who may dislike Rudy. I doubt they could vote for Hillary.

Super Ruper - This man was in charge of a city that is larger than over half the state's in the union. His policies meant something, whereas Obama was one of many in the State House.

are you familiar with his record up to Sept. 10, 2001 as mayor.
he is too authoritarian and vindictive. we have had enough of that mind set for the last 6 years. I will admit he was an excellent prosecutor. in addition he seems to have made a career and a lot of money profiteering off of that horrible day.

I live in New York and honestly he was a horrible mayor untill his publicity for 9/11. Crime rates were way above they are now. Schools were horrible. Now that we have Michael Bloomberg we are a lot safer. So I wouldn't vote for Guliani.

No reason. But I would suggest this...

Those who criticize Obama for not having enough experience would be hypocritical if they supported Guiliani for the position of President. As well, it would be highly irresponsible if he were voted in for emotional reasons...for his wonderful show of courage and strength after 9/11. Like all candidates, they should be voted in because they are the best person for the job, not for sentimentality.

Republicans think he's too Liberal in his personal life - Democrats think he'll be too police state minded - to cross over instead of voting for Hillary.
