what happens is that when there is a paper jam it will keep saying that until the paper feed button is pressed on the printer. Locate this button on the printer and press it. It should just print the paper through the printer witout printing once this is done the pc will now be able to recognise that there is paper in the printer.

that will happen if there is no paper in the load slot too. but open up the printer and see if there is paper actually jammed...also, try loading one sheet at a time to avoid some jams
after you reload paper, if there is a printer job, hit the continue button and the printer should start working

mackavell seems to be on the right track, i would think. open that printer up as much as you know how and double check Everywhere you can inside it . then find that button and reset your printer. i'd be willing to bet there is a paper you're overlooking.

Trying shutting it off and taking the ink cartridges out and then putting them back in. After you have done this, restart your computer just in case. That should cover all the bases. It sounds like the printer just locked up.

uninstall the driver then reinstall. it should work properly after that.

Reset it .or unplug everything ,and then start all over ,
