Anyway, for some reason, I decided to call her the day before valentines day to ask her out, but she didn't answer, so I left a message and told her to call me back. I know she is single, but I also think she may already have plans with some of her other girlfriends. Anyway, I want to ask her out but I will look stupid if she already has plans. Should I ask her out for a few days after valentines, ask her out on valentines right on the spot, or lie and say I just had a question about something? I really like this girl, but I'm stuck now. HELP!!!

I would always put it this way: May I ask you out for valentine's or would you rather wait until the weekend?
That way you don't get a flat no out of it.

Hmm, you're in a bit of a tight spot.
Call her today, see if she's available, mention that you are pretty sure she has plans but you'd like to meet her up for something. Like over some good coffee or whatever you know that she likes. You won't look stupid if you mention that she probably has plans. I would feel flattered, personally, if a guy asked me out on V-day. Just be honest, and flexible. If she says she has something planned, try to schedule for another time. Most importantly, don't ask her out flat out over the phone. Asking a girl out carries more impact when it's in person and she can see your sincerity in your face. So ask her to go out somewhere, coffee, a movie, sacrifice yourself and go to the mall with her if that's what she likes. Just don't sit idly because you're afraid to look stupid.

Well, you've already called her, so now it's up to her to make the next move. Just wait to see if she returns your message, and don't be too insistent. If she accepts and it's too late to plan something for Valentine's Day, you can still go out afterwards. Good luck.

Give it a couple of days before you ask her agin. Dont look like a desperate smuck trying to get a date just for valentines day. she probley already has plans for today so just be patient and give her a chancew to call you back. If she already has plans for today then she probley will not call you back today. If you havent heard from her in about 3 days give her another call.

Just ask her out. If she can't make a date for Valentines Day suggest another day then.

Maybe she is going out with girlfriends because nobody asked her out. I f I was you I woukld call her back right now. She might go with you today. But if she still wants to go out. with the girls maybe you two can set something up for another time. Besides if she she is going out with girlfriends that means the girlfriends are most likely singe and she have something to brag about.

Relax; you've called and left a message. Give it a couple of days and try again - if she doesn't answer or get back to you, then forget it, take a hint and move on.

You won't look stupid if she had other plans. If you really like her, tell her the truth, that you'd like to go out with her. The worst she can do is say no. But consider the alternative ... ;-)
