Probably around 9 like you I was the oldest of 6 kids and paractically had to raise the last 3 while my mom worked 2 jobs to support us. I use to get off the bus and then go to the neighbors house and pick up my brothers and sisters and watch them untill my mom got home at 8 at night to save her money on child care. I did this from the age of 9 on till I moved out I think that classifys as becoming an adult watching a infant, 18 month old, 3 yr old, 5 yr old and a 7 yr old.

Ok well I learned early on how to handle responsibility and my current occupation leaves no room for goofing off. I am 20 years old and act 40 when it comes to my responsibilities in life (school, work), started acting this way at 11 (I was sent off to boarding school and learned how to do everything for myself). I can act my age but I do it very rarely out in public and only with a few close friends ( a group of guys that act just like me). I act my age on the weekends when I am no where near my place of work. But I can laugh and do have a great sense of humor.

I thought I was an adult as a teenager but, I really felt like an adult when I left my first husband at the age of 22. It made me feel as if I made my own decisions that would affect my life. Once you feel you can make the right decisions for you and your family then, you are an adult.

I became a man in the spring of 2006. I had to lead some other people through some stuff and leaned a lot in the process.

Not until I became 30. That was when I let the past go, forgave who needed forgiving, asked forgiveness from who I had hurt and began living life in a productive way- doing the things that were meaningful and letting the rest go.
