Im in school for car design and I've finished designing a concept truck (with Jaguar brand DNA) and for the final presentation we have to have a target market. I assume that the majority of Jag owners are well-off financially and I am starting to wonder if there is any reason why 'they' would want a Jag truck, or if I should change my design into a mini suv. Any thoughts?

(If you do own one it would be helpful if you could list several recreational activities you enjoy.) Thank you.

Luxury pickups have been tried by Cadillac (Escalade), Lincoln (Blackwood) with limited success. With Jaguar owners you would have taller order. Jag owners like the make because it has a history of great styling and handling, and has an element of snobbishness to it. I think you would be far better off marketing wise to make it into a Luxury Crossover SUV like the BMW X3 and X5. These have been widely accepted by the BMW enthusiasts.
